Dear members of the Spier-family,
It all started February 22nd 1914 and here we are!
Welcome to the website we developed to start the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Joseph and Sara Spier foundation the coming year 2014.
With this site the board of the Joseph and Sara Spier foundation intends to invite ánd to inform as many of you possible about the special family gathering to be organized in the city of Zutphen, the Netherlands September 6 & 7.
But we hope for more.
We hope the site will inSpier you to donate your family-stories and photo’s and make your contribution to the family tree. The plan is to compose a family booklet to mark our 100th birthday with and to present a complete-as-possible familytree by the end of the summer. You even might find yourself invited to get in touch with long time no see or not known familymembers all over the world.
We aim for a growing digital archive and platform our great-great-grandparents could not foresee. And probably we underestimate them and they did foresee.
Most of all though we hope to meet you all in Zuthpen, September 2014. Check this site regularly for information.
